About The Java Backend Developer Role
As a Java Backend Developer you will work on the development of the core Private Cloud Platform written in Java. On a daily basis, you will be part of complex international projects, you will interact with the private cloud infrastructure assigned for these projects and will work with a global team.
This role is very dynamic for it features the development of smart devices and solutions in direct collaboration with digital experts, IT experts, R&D teams, Marketing experts and Design professionals.
Key Responsibilities As a Java Backend Developer
- In charge with product delivery respecting clean code principles and standards
- Attending product design meetings in order to assess and analyze the technical feasibility, the scalability, the extendibility, the performance and the maintainability of the target technologies and solutions
- Designing and developing functional tests, unit tests and SIT tests
- Contributing to sprint planning, scrum stand-ups, demos and retros
Technical Skills For This Specific Java Backend Developer
Must haves:
- 6+ years in commercial back-end programming on Java
- Bachelor’s degree in Computer Science
- Relevant experience with cloud technologies (AWS, AZURE, IBM)
- Proficiency in the Unit-test area (JUnit5, Mockito, Spring Testing)
- Proper familiarity with CI tools (Jenkins)
- Experience with VCS/DVCS (Subversion, Mercurial, Git), Spring framework , spring cloud
Nice to have:
- Excellent user of Jira / Confluence
- Some work experience with SQL BD’s, MongoDB, Redis, Kafka), RESTful-services
