About The System, Network & Cloud Administrator Role

This role covers the necessary professional areas for an excellent system, networks and cloud management, as follows:

• design, configure, install, maintain and repair WAN/LAN subsystems and servers
• oversee the Data Center operation and environment
• provide information, direction and/or recommendations regarding network and server installations and configurations;
• resolve server and network operational issues;
• provide technical support to district and site staff and clients

Essential Job Functions

• Monitor internal systems and applications
• Install, Reinstall, Configure Desktop OS, Server OS, Switch and Router OS
• Troubleshoot and provide support for network, server, desktop, and printer issues
• Manage software and hardware inventory
• Perform onboarding & offboarding tasks for the company employees
• Create and maintain documentation of all relevant specifications, systems, and procedures
• Assess and recommend new technologies and products for improvement of the assigned system

Requirements For The System, Network & Cloud Administrator Role

• Bachelor’s degree in computer science, or related field preferred
• 3 or more years of experience with computer systems or networking
• Ability to work independently and as part of a team
• Good analytical and problem-solving skills to troubleshoot systems problems
• Good communication skills to interact and collaborate with support personnel and customers
• Experience in User Support L1 & L2
• Experienced in hardware deployment and maintenance
• Experience with Linux Web and Mail Server
• Experience with Windows AD and Exchange Server
• Experience with Storage and Backup Systems
• Experience with Networking: VLAN, Routing, Firewall

Nice-to-Have:

• Experience with Docker, Ansible and Git
• Experience with Azure and or AWS

• Proficient English is a must
• Hungarian is a must
