This week we start by celebrating World Education Day also known as World Teachers’ Day as a statement for the importance of education in our Codespring community. For almost a decade already, our team has been running the Codespring Mentoring Program – an educational program that enrolls students from their first year of University in an intensive learning process about software development.
Continuous Learning Through Codespring Mentoring Program
The Codespring Mentoring Program is a multiple module training program that follows your university curricula but brings along concrete dynamic projects, dedicated mentors and continuous learning.
More than 300 students have participated during the 10 years of mentoring activity led by Codespring. The output count almost 80 published works, a few projects turned into real apps and naturally, a few nice and dear additions to the core team.
Once, you get into our community, you will also be engaged in even more learning. Technology never stops evolving and we must be on top of our domain of expertise.
World Education Day 2020
Due to the pandemic, teachers, professors and mentors had to quickly adjust to new ways of delivering knowledge and engaging students in virtual activities. We are aware that for the digitally trained people, it was easier to help their families and kids with the home set up. Nevertheless, we must also realize the effort put by those educators and teachers who were mostly familiar with the classic offline system to be in tone with this massive online teaching shift.
Our Codespring team was also very glad to help the teachers and educators surrounding community – preschool, school, high school and universities – with its members’ know-how and skills. We must remember though that World Teachers’ Day commemorates the anniversary of the adoption of the 1966 ILO/UNESCO Recommendation concerning the Status of Teachers. This Recommendation sets benchmarks regarding the rights and responsibilities of teachers and standards for their initial preparation and further education, recruitment, employment, and teaching and learning conditions.
Ongoing Educational Activities for 2020 / 2021
In the spirit of quality education and continuous learning, Codespring is ready to announce new online programs for future software developers. The 2020/2021 Codespring Mentoring Program will continue with new modules and ready to enroll new students.
