Role in The Team
As an Embedded Engineering Analyst, you will analyze data models in the current firmware of diverse embedded systems of connected home appliances and propose new solutions with comprehensive documentation and standardization.
Your Main Responsibilities as an Embedded Engineering Analyst
- analyze current solution of data representations (appliance firmware, cloud, mobile app)
- enhance the documentation solution to increase usability, maintainability, scalability
- evolve the new solution to become the source of truth for different representations of the IoT Ecosystem system elements (appliance, cloud, App, servers, and tools), so coherence is guaranteed
- provide support in technical documentation and standardization processes
Requirements For The Embedded Engineering Analyst Role
Technical skills
- Knowledge of software and networking protocols (TCP/IP, MQTT, CoAP)
- Basic knowledge of System Requirements Engineering
- Basic software programming knowledge; embedded is preferred (C), other language i.e. Python, Javascript is a plus
- Knowledge of API (RESTful, GraphQL) and related tools
- Knowledge of software development life cycle is a plus (source control management, CI/CD, testing and release)
- Experience in interoperability initiatives (nice to have)
- MSc or BSc degree in Computer Science
Soft competencies
- Willing to keep technical background always up-to-date, committed to technical excellence
- Team oriented
- Proactive, takes initiatives
Language requirements
- Fluency in English is mandatory
