We provide software to our customers which helps them to create estimations and schedules for the construction industry based on the 3D model of the building created in various modeling applications. Performance, memory management and concurrent programming are crucial for the application and are guaranteed by the simultaneous multi-user, multi-branch project environment based on a native object-oriented database.
The development team is involved in product design as well in order to implement the best featureset available on the market.
What we expect:
– B.S. or M.S. in Computer Science
– very strong (at least 3 – 4 years) C++ development experience / .Net experience is mandatory
– knowledge and experience in object-oriented (OOP) design principles is highly desired
– knowledge of UML and experience is highly beneficial
– Windows development experience
– ability to follow development processes, write a very clean and readable code
– performance, memory-oriented and concurrent programming experience is an advantage
– experience with object-oriented databases is an advantage
– experience working as a team member of a larger development team is beneficial
– good English communicational skills (both written and oral) are mandatory
– fast learner, motivated person
Responsibilities:
– implement performance and memory-critical features in an object-oriented database environment, paying attention to multi-user and object versioning requirements
– work with the other functional component and application development teams to understand their functional requirements
– bring ideas in the design and architecture of this framework
– optimizing the persistence framework that need to store large numbers of both small objects and very large objects with very high IO rates
– collaborating with team members, sharing knowledge with others
– meeting project deadlines
