JAVA SOFTWARE DEVELOPER

The job:

The JAVA Software Developer will analyze, design and implement customer requirements. You will be responsible for developing applications using the Java programming language. You will also be accountable for overseeing the execution of software development from conceptual phase to the testing phase. You will also be building Java – based applications including creation of application layers, modeling techniques, designing object-oriented components and coding algorithms. An essential thing to remember is that you will work closely with the customer providing technical support to their teams.

The must haves:

Technically, you are required to have university degree (IT) and at least (!) 3 years of hands-on experience with Java and previous technical expertise with SQL. Your intense experience in SW development (whole software development life cycle) should take you to the short list. Additional skills for the job consist in having strong analytical capacity, possessing a sense of prioritizing tasks and meeting deadlines, being able to cooperate with customers directly and to work both within a team and under own responsibility. Problem solving and organizational skills are highly appreciated.

German language is a plus; while a good command of English is mandatory, both in writing and in speaking. You must have a strong motivation for the job and be willing to travel and work at international level.
