On the 5th of July 2013, Codespring 2013 Mentoring Program has successfully ended. We are proud to announce that all the participants have well taken their final examination test and degrees. All program attendees who have successfully completed the final examination of the practical workshop were awarded with a Certificate of Achievement recognized by Codespring and by Codespring’s partner network. Well done!
In order to mark the event, we have organized a little tasty barbeque: good music, lots of meet and lots of beer. We thank all the participants for their dedication and involvement in the project. It was a perfect occasion to better assess the potential of each student while providing professional Java preparation.
As previously announced the mentoring program included several common projects, professional supervision of BSc and MSc dissertations, preparatory courses for 1st year IT&C students and practical training for ITC students.
The practical Java training was organized on 3 sections:
- Java Fundamentals (Java 1): entry level Java training for 1st year students;
- Java Technologies (Java 2): junior level Java training for 2nd year students and Java technology common project candidates;
- Java Enterprise Development Platforms and Frameworks (Java 3): advanced level Java training for 3rd year students and students writing their BSc dissertation from Java technologies.
We also mention the fact that all BSc and MSc dissertations have received maximum grades at the University and 4 of these works have won the TDK contest.
With special thanks to the lecturers and coordinators of this program: Tibor BOTH – project manager, Károly SIMON, Ph.D. – lecturer, project coordinator and Tamás TÖRÖK-VISTAI – project manager, we are looking forward for the next year edition.
Keep up the good work and remember: Codespring is the place to upgrade yourself!
