According to the ClujIT Cluster Association official page, “Cluj Innovation City is a planned high technology business area to be built in and around Cluj, the largest city and intellectual capital of the North-Western part of Romania”.
The project is intended to be a highly modern complex meant to encourage companies that are part of the newly established Cluj IT Innovation Cluster and also other science and technology companies from Romania and abroad to establish their base of operations and research here.
Cluj Innovation City aims at concentrating intellectual capital from Romania and abroad. It will foster the further development of diverse technologies having a clear focus on innovation and value-added products. As individuals, small and medium firms, and large corporations become “residents” of the city, the area will go through a development process based on the Cluj Innovation City Master Plan.
On the long-term, Cluj Innovation City will look to meet wider European trends relating to work-force quality of life, and the provision of educational services and cultural and social concepts turning the site into a propeller of research and new technology, of modern and advanced lifestyles.
As a founding member of ClujIT Cluster Association, Codespring adheres to such initiatives and supports the development of ClujIT community.
Therefore, if it happens that one of our dear readers is in Munchen these days, you are welcome to visit ClujIT Association stand and find more about this great project!
