Codespring digital vibes at VIBE 2024 flashed again the young community of festival attendees in Târgu-Mureș. Summer was on a high note and our Codespring stand at VIBE Koli 2024 triggered the audience with VR games, programmable robots, interesting tech talks and fun prizes!
During the 5 festivals days, 112600 participants were on location, they attended 120 shows on VIBE stages, while VIBE Koli X BCR hosted 68 talks and worhsops. Codespring partenered this year too for the VIBE Koli – educational section of the festival.
A Short Recap of VIBE Koli 2024
VIBE Koli is the educational section of VIBE music festival. This section invites college and high school students or more widely, youth from all over Transylvania, to attend inspiring talks and workshops with experts, entrepreneurs, academic personalities, artists and creatives who are interested to share their professional or personal story.
The partners and sponsors of this section are intentionally outlining various careers opportunities in order to present to the youung attending the festival, what looks like their future on the marketplace. The daily agenda starts at noon and ends before the evening concerts, creating room for interactions and discovery tours.
Codespring Digital Vibes at VIBE 2024 – Koli Section
Codespring was one of the sponsors of VIBE Koli 2024 as a symbol of our orientation towards the young generation and our belief in their potential to create future digital tech!
Since software development is a highly abstract activity, we think that the best way to make young people understand what we are doing is to prepare interactions with some of the final output of software development, in the form of products and mobile applications. The programming exercises that our team proposed were welcomed with curiosity and a natural shyness. In the end is about opening new horizons and triggering more questions.
Our engagement as a VIBE Koli 2024 partner is also a matter of heart our team has a unique Hungarian and Transylvanian background. Over more, our software development teams have a special link with the festival community, since we have offices in Cluj-Napoca, Odorheiu Secuiesc and Târgu-Mureș.
Since we are also constantly looking for skilful young students in our software development internships and mentoring programs, we also wanted to promote the careers starters in IT.
Codespring Tent: Activities and Tech Gadgets
The company tent placed in the VIBE Koli 2024 venue featured VR game, programmable robots, chill zone and surprise raffles! Visitors could try out try out the Meta Quest (with VR glasses), the RoboMaster, the Line-Us robot drawing machine or the RobotKar and had the chance to win fun prizes: Codespring hats, caps, lightweight backpacks, water bottles or tote bags!
Our team has also explained the complete cycle of a software developer career and how one can start in the field. Many students were curious about the necessary studies and the suitable study year to enroll in an internship.
Our CEO, mr. Levente Szélyes, was also invited to give a live interview for the Romanian Radio local station: Radio Târgu-Mureș. The main discussion was about the current technologies, about the IT trends in Romania and Transylvania, about the present and the future of this dynamic sector.
