On the 5th of November, 2009 ANIS – the Romanian Employers’ Association of Software Industry and Services – organized the ISTQB Foundation Exam for software testers in Cluj-Napoca. This exam was hosted for the first time by Codespring.
The ISTQB Certified Tester program and certification session offer the necessary knowledge for efficient testing and verification processes of software products. This exam includes the following concepts: principles of testing, testing throughout the life cycle, test design techniques, test management, tool support for testing, etc.
The International Software Testing Qualifications Board – ISTQB promotes a program named ISTQB Certified Tester, based on a certification scheme structured on three levels: Foundation, Advanced and Expert. This certification scheme is recognized and accepted in more than 35 countries, among which there are national and regional ISTQB comittees. So far over 40.000 people have been certified worldwide.
Beginning with January 2007, ANIS is the administrator of the international “ISTQB Certified Tester” courses for Romania, as well as of the ISTQB certification exams according to the agreement signed with SEETB – South East European Testing Board.
On this occasion, we were glad to have among us Ms. Valerica Dragomir, Executive Director of ANIS as the examiner of our two colleagues and other two guests from the Outsourcing Factory company.
