Yesterday,24.06.2014,we had the pleasure of attendinga special workshop on the best practices among clusters, organized by iTechsylvania. The objective of the event was to highlight the importance of cooperation among local clusters and their impact on the local communities. Chaired by Mr. Marcel Borodi – President of ARIES Transylvania and assited by Ms. Bianca Muntean – Project Manager of iTechsylvania, the workshop has deployed in a friendly and considerate atmosphere at The Office Conference Center, in Cluj-Napoca.
On the Agenda, there have been several interesting interventions. The welcome speech and the first informative session were held by Mr. Marcel Borodi about the role, objectives and plans of ARIES Transilvania. Next, Ms. Bianca Muntean has provided us useful insights about the iTechsylvania Cluster and its purpose.
Right after her intervention, Mr. Felix Arion showcased the impact that AgroTransilvania Cluster had on the local agricultural and agribusiness community. From the manufacturing side, Mr. Cirpian Morcan informed us about the Transylvanian Furniture Local Cluster. A surpising appearance was that of the Lifestyle Cluster – a new cluster aiming to emphasize the importance of wellbeing, modern and ethical lifestyle in the local community.
From a very practical perspective, Mr. Dragos Paslaru delivered useful information on the available tools for cluster development.
In the end, Mr. Cristian Dascalu presented to the audience the Start-up Transilvania – Business Acceleration Program.
As a final note, Codespring representatives appreciate the initiative of ARIES Transylvania and iTechSylvania to organize this workshop. This type of meetings facilitate the exchange of ideas, the sharing of common goals and clarifies the opinion of the local community representative on how we should build a resilient economic and social environment in Cluj and the expanded Transylvania region.
